Progressive Zionists of California is delighted to announce we have officially become a 501(c)4 organization!  As we have grown and matured in the past two years, it became clear that while Jewish and Israel institutional organizations have seen great success educating about antisemitism and building coalitions around Israel, more targeted work is needed.

Jews and Zionists must do more to educate our peers, colleagues, and friends about Zionism, Israel, and Jewish connections to each other and to Israel. As a 501c()4, we plan to increase our outreach to Democratic Party leadership, grassroots members, expand our social media presence, and hold educational and bridge building events around the state.

We are excited to build on our numerous accomplishments, and bring even more people on board with progressive policies – to build a better California and better California Democratic politics.

“PZC firmly believes that progressive political movements are the natural home for many California Jews and allies,” Executive Director Susan George said. “That being said, we are looking forward to bringing new Jewish communities to Democrats, and building bridges with other communities.”
