During the November California Democratic Party Convention, PZC thought it would be important to come together in solidarity— Jewish community and friends. In hindsight, after the convention was shut down later that evening by anti-Israel protesters, we didn’t realize just how meaningful this time together would be.
Thank you to the over 100 CADEM party leaders, legislators, allies and friends who came out in the rain to gather at Capitol Park Rose Garden to remember the hostages kidnapped by Hamas, the rising antisemitism in our communities and the tragic deaths of civilians in both Israel and Gaza.
Together, we listened, we sang, we cried, we gathered strength from one another.
PZC is grateful to all of our sponsors: JCRC of San Francisco Democrats for Israel – California Democratic Majority for Israel Jewish Democratic Club of Silicon Valley Jewish Democrats of Solano County Democrats for Israel Los Angeles Jewish Democrats of San Diego County and Raoul Wallenberg Jewish Democratic Club. Thank you to the immense support from the California Legislative Jewish Caucus. Thank you also to Nir Peled and all who helped with the setup and displays.
This event was a labor of love and community solidarity.
